We’ve had two crazy weeks back-to-back 🐊 Nearly 80 sales at an average price of 257 $ONE have been made this week. This, along with floor prices for most specials increasing, and supply on secondary at an all time low (Less than 2.4% of the supply is listed on secondary 😱) means many people are eager to either become members of the OneCan Fam, or pack their bags 👀 FYI, this is all before we’ve fully released The Island 🌴
Open Beta:
Once again, in OneCan team fashion, we’re releasing something without previously announcing 😉 We’ve been talking about the open beta, and have decided to release it in a multi-step process
Originally, we were going to release the open beta alongside many other releases, but bear market times mean were taking a bit more time to perfect features before release🔨
The open beta V1 will simply be all the new features that have been developed:
- New chat boxes that are less intrusive
- New animations and audio when speaking to NPCs
- Sprint mechanic with stamina bar
- Island access to anyone that owns a OneCan
We will be including our custom map (which we have had some technical difficulties implementing), new NPCs, and mini games in future releases of this open beta 🙌 We truly want to bring the Canners into the beta testing role 👷 The open beta will be available at some point this week barring any unforeseen technical issues 😃
Marketing + Exposure For Cave Plot Launch:
As we all know, cave plots are coming soon, and we need to start spreading the word so that more people can join the OneCan Fam before its too late 👊 This will be a community-driven effort, as we can’t be the only ones preaching about OneCans, we need our loyal Canners to help spread the word 😉
We’ve been approached by quite a few projects wanting to do AMAs with us. We’ve been focusing on building over the past few months, but we’ve been listening to our community, so we will be redirecting some effort towards expanding our horizons and talking with other communities 👏
Us holding these AMAs does not mean we are giving our “stamp of approval” to invest in certain projects. We just want to go out there, learn about other teams on Harmony, give you guys the potential to hear about these projects, and potentially spread the words of OneCan 👀 Bringing in new people with fresh perspectives is crucial to our growth as a community-driven project.
So our first AMA will be held with the team from “DeFi: The Gods!” at 12pm PDT on Saturday, June 25th on their Discord server. We chose to begin with their team, since they have been super receptive and seem to be building an interesting game.
Once again, to really drive the point home, we need our communities help to spread the word about our project. We don’t believe in predatory marketing tactics (Server take-overs, discord invite incentives, etc.), so we depend on simple word of mouth. We will continue building, our Canners continue spreading the word, and together we will make The Island the social epicenter of the Harmony blockchain.
Conclusion:
This week will be exciting, as we continue to get everything together for the cave plot launch. Things are going a tad slower than expected (as is always the case with technical matters), so expect some announcements in a few weeks 👏
